Why is being relevant important? Before we answer why we must first understand the definition of relevance. Relevance is the state of being closely connected or appropriate.
Let us take a deeper look into becoming relevant for your career. You can be either relevant or irrelevant. I prefer that you become and stay relevant because it means you are on the path to achieving your career goals and dreams. Relevance means that you are an essential part of your team or organization. You become essential by being a reliable person. You are the one who gets the job done. You are the individual others want to emulate because of your leadership, passion, and caring for others.
Things that you can do to become more relevant are:

· Be passionate about the work you do
· Make sure your work is of the highest standards, accurate and competent
· Bring solutions
· Stay positive
· Maintain high morals and values
· Display grit and determination
· Take action
The world is constantly evolving and changing, and at a moment's notice, what we expected today can be drastically different tomorrow. If the pandemic has taught us anything, it has taught us how fast people can lose their job or get laid off. And now, with Russia's invasion of Ukraine, uncertainty may not be far behind.
